Very cozy and great spot

Wonderful classy environment with a sort of retro twist, fantastic selection of wine and cocktails, wonderful food. Attentive and friendly staff. Extra points for nifty side courtyard and music spun on vinyl! Great spot for a date.

The drinks were damn near perfect and the food was amazing!

We stopped by last night for some cocktails and loved this bar! CJ was super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The fig old fashioned was tasty and the bar selection allows for ordering pretty much any cocktail that comes to mind. Delicious craft cocktails in a relaxed environment. Would frequent this location if we lived here.

Great record selection! Impeccable service and suggesting, except the duck confit...pass. Order the burger, ask for drink suggestions and enjoy.

CJ and Galen will make you feel right at home. Chill music and vibes, better service and even better drinks. Start with some bubbly and the Frito Misto then go from there, this place will surprise you with its quality.

The food was great the service was horrible. We ordered all our dishes at once and asked for it to be brought out in courses, it was brought out rapid fire (5 dishes within 10 min), with the excuse they were busy, when I pointed out we were the only table eating (we were 1 of 3 total tables) the waitress said oh the kitchen just wanted to get it out. The waitress then sat on the edge of our table to talk to the table next to us. I have worked the service industry in NYC as a server and bartender and this was a horrible experience service wise. The food was great though.

Love this place. The bar tender really knows what he is doing. He invented an extremely refreshing drink called the pastel horde. Def would recommend. Sitting inside is lovely or sitting out on the porch and people watching Is great.

Poor service, obscenely overpriced, and mediocre quality food. I wish I could share even a single redeeming quality, but was unable to find one.

One of the best happy hour deals ive found in the city

Bouligny is a dressy casual, hip spot for a solid cocktail. This is my pre-drink or night cap spot in the city. Dont forget their burger too - most bang for buck food item that won't dissapoint.

This place has a cool mid-centry modern vibe and a great staff. I'll definitely be back.

Great vibe here. Great bar drinks and super food. Not too loud. You can actually carry on a conversation! Try it with a new date so you can actually hear what they are saying. Great courtyard also. Nice attractive crowd, well dressed professionals.

Are you kidding me? We stumbled in LATE and found ourselves enjoying some of the best drinks and food of our very long stay in NOLA. The Brussels sprouts alone are worth at least as much as your firstborn child. The service was incredibly friendly and our server was slammed but still took the time to treat us like family. Actually, my family doesn't treat me quite this well but that's OK, I'll just have another drink here and create my own idyllic life.

Very accomodating and the perfect place to celebrate a birthday or ladies night. They didn't mind the ballons and cake I brought for my friend's birthday. And they paid attention to the little things like continuing to fill our wine glasses and asking if we need any help periodically. The staff was super genuine and attentive.

Great atmosphere and service, but very loud inside and not conducive to good conversation. My friends and I shared a burger, the fries, brussel sprouts, beet salad, and hush puppies. All the dishes were excellent except the sprouts which tasted great but were very oily.

I had been procrastinating going to this place and it's probably the worst thing I've done in a while and I do some silly s^*+! The tavern is gorgeous and the cocktails are awesome. I had the pleasure of meeting CJ and not only is he easy on the eyes but he makes an amazing cocktail. I'd like to call that a 2 for 1! Music, food and ambiance.... gooooooooo!!!!!! One of the coolest bars in the city. They have a mid-century vibe with music from a record player. Their bartenders are top notch (ask for Michael!) and I am never disappointed when I come here.

Very nice, small bar. Stopped here for a drink before dinner next door, having never been before, and we were really impressed. Great drinks and atmosphere, and it wasn’t crowded at all, even at 6:30 pm on a Friday.

This is a great spot a kind of under the radar on Magazine Street. Definitely has the feel of a real authentic speakeasy once you step inside. Food, drinks, atmosphere, music, and service are all top notch. Definitely a great date spot as well as many people may not be privy to it unless they live in the neighborhood. They also have a patio which makes it good to switch it up or if you are a smoker and want to have options.

Good late night place. Food is decent quality, some plates better than others. Most plates are made with toasted slices of French bread they call brochettas with various things on top. Small quantities, high prices.

Great place for evening cocktails

Went in on a whim, we were just strolling down Magazine St during happy hour. And NOLA happy hours are AWESOME! Upon entering you feel like you're walking into a cool, contemporary salon room. The ambience is cool and sleek. Great place to just relax with a glass of wine, or one of their specialty cocktails. Bites: The Gouda Beignets were so good, I wish I could have brought them back. We also had the Burrata Bruschetta, it was okay.

Great food, cool scene, late night

My friend and I came here on a quiet Thursday night recently and had a lovely meal and drinks. Our bartender CJ was very knowledgable about the menu and suggested the burger to us - it was divine and one of the best burgers I have had (and I'm from San Francisco). We also had the Gougeres & Comté cheese biscuits which were excellent. The duck confit could have been skipped, however I highly recommend the burrata. CJ was even kind enough to lend us some of his personal records to enjoy in our rental. Overall a very lovely experience and highly recommend!

SO delicious. They are so great every time I'm there. Either in a small group or huge party. The bartenders always rock the cocktails and their french fries are to die.
